Ádám Juhász's Workshop

Welcome

Self-portrait

I am Ádám Juhász, a software engineer, who studied computer science at Eötvös Loránd University of Science (ELTE), Faculty of Informatics until 2014. My studies included basic programming concepts, algorithm studies, database management, studying the C specification, writing compilers and study (x86) assembly (a skill I routinely forget to mention), C++, C#, Java and many many more things.

As someone, who was always fascinated by technology, and always seek understanding the tools, and their possible uses, I always wanted to deepen my understanding with these technologies, and find new, interesting ways they can be used. While I have affinity for mathematics as well and had quickly understood the subject, I had find some aspect of it difficult. I also have the desire to provide a methodology to better introduce new features in a project, while maintaining better backward compatibility in new versions both in user experience and integration, and to provide a way better OS than Windows 95 was. This desire what lead me to choose programming over mathematics. While certainly dated, it is still something I hold on to and partially drives me, even if I’ll never be the person, who ends up implementing anything from it.

I want to dedicate this new domain for sharing my programming projects and hobbies with the world, and slowly work towards my desire. Or not, it does not bother me if I don’t end up with a market killer OS, or defining “programmer’s discipline” (as I have named in my mind), the main point of this site is to showcase my interest and it’s intricacies.

I also wish to showcase all other things not programming or technology related on this site. For now, this will be art and maybe literature I like to work with, but since I have dedicated my last 10 years to work, I need to revitalize this hobby of my, which may take a while.

You can find all sort of thing on the right navigation panel.

For Recruiters

While the <jadaml.website> domain contain more than just professionally relevant information, it is a good place to gather all sort of things that relates to me, like what are my interests, what are my goals, and generally what am I up to. The domain is split in two subdomains.

My workshop, www.jadaml.website is more of a static website, where I share information about my hobby / pet projects. These will act more like an information driven archive, rather than a chronological map of things I do. The programming projects I house here will contain a short description of what it is, and some technical specification, a GitHub link to the project source, and a help page. Sometimes this may include some messing around with technologies, or drawing parallels between past and present features, or even naive attempts at introducing standards, that no one gets to use.

This subdomain will also house the fruit of my hobbies, that I wish to share with the world. The long term plan is to share art, literature and music.

My blog, blog.jadaml.website is where I share updates of my endeavors in both professionally and my hobbies. While this subdomain also something that will not contain only my professional activity, the professionally relevant posts will be shared on my LinkedIn page as well. So if you don’t want to read everything about I do, you can follow me there as well.
